When you visit SmokeStik’s site, the first thing you notice are several slides leading to stories and photos of celebrities using SmokeStik eCigs, and news, radio and TV spots about the company. While the website is great, we fear that SmokeStik is taking the focus off of the most important part of their company – the products. When you get to the products page, information on each product is limited.

Fortunately, SmokeStik’s products are great. They offer four strong models – the beautiful Hendu Elite, Royale, the classy Royale, and the simple but strong JET and Premium. The Hendu Elite and Royale models have a new and unique crystal LED tip. In general, SmokeStik is very stylish, but we feel that their logo is too prominent on each battery. Most eCig companies place small, subtle logos on their batteries. SmokeStik takes up almost half of the battery with their logo. Each model is made up of two pieces, the battery and the cartomizer (cartridge and atomizer in one piece). Due to pressure from the FDA and to combat interest from children, SmokeStik only offers Tobacco and Menthol flavors. Both flavors are excellent and are great alternatives to traditional cigarettes.

SmokeStik offers some fun accessories, the most fun being their battery skins. Represent your country with your flag on your battery, or wrap your battery with heart or snake skin patterns. Also available are some nice carrying cases.

The quality of each product is very high. The cartomizers are very consistent. The Hendu Elite and the Royale models seem to be manufactured slightly better than the JET and Premium models but each eCig is sturdy and performs very well.

Also impressive are SmokeStik’s prices. None of their starter kits exceed $100. Cartridge prices are about average at $19.95 per 5-pack. Each cartridge should last for an equivalent of about a pack and a half of traditional cigarettes.

SmokeStik’s customer service is above average. They seem to instantly ship your product when you order it. We also ordered a Hendu Elite kit the same night as the Katherine Heigl interview with David Letterman when they discussed the SmokeStik. They were extremely busy with orders but our shipment came within about a week anyway. Regardless, SmokeStik also included extra cartomizers and a car charger to make up for any inconvenience. This shows extreme dedication to putting the customer first.

While SmokeStik may have an inflated ego, they still offer excellent products at great prices.

And if you aren’t sure about electronic cigarettes, eSmoke has a disposable eCig for you.

The Pro and Sensation electronic cigarettes look exactly the same except the Pro Series is much smaller. These are very simple eCigs and style isn’t the goal of them. However, all products are packaged and presented very nicely.

eSmoke’s website is very bright and flashy. At times, this makes finding what you’re looking for tricky. Overall, the site is organized well and once you spend a few minutes there, it becomes easy to navigate. You also don’t have to dig too deep to find helpful information.

eSmoke truly has a product for anyone. If you are new to electronic cigarettes and don’t want to pay for a starter kit right away, you can order one of the Sensation Disposable electronic cigarettes in tobacco or menthol flavor. Also available are a variety of two-piece Pro and Sensation starter kits for the average eCig user. Unfortunately, the starter kits only come with medium strength, tobacco flavored cartridges, but you can order additional flavors including Classic Tobacco, Minty Menthol, Smooth Vanilla, Morning Coffee, Green Apple, Summer Strawberry, Rich Chocolate and Tobacco M. Accessories are important when using electronic cigarettes, and eSmoke has many available. You can find the right charger for your needs, from car/wall/USB to portable charging cases. eSmoke also sells a variety of great eCig cases.

The quality of all of these products is top-notch. A big concern of electronic cigarette users is the quality of the eLiquid they are using. eSmoke produces and fills all of their eLiquid at their facility in the US. Each batch is tested by Precision Testing Labs and the results are posted on eSmoke’s website. These are high-quality, pure eLiquids. The same attention to quality is seen in all of their products, from the batteries and cartridges to the accessories. These eCigs also create a lot of vapor. While the Pro Series is very small, it’s vapor production rivals most larger models.

As with many high-quality eCigs, prices for eSmoke’s starter kits are rather high. We are thrilled with the quality and performance of the products and don’t mind paying a little extra for the satisfaction, but it’s always nice to save more money. At the low price of $14.00 per 5-pack of cartridges, you will quickly start saving money. Each cartridge equals approximately 30 cigarettes. When the FDA began denouncing and attempting to regulate electronic cigarettes, NJOY was one of the first eCig suppliers to join the fight for our freedom of choice. NJOY has been one of the most successful electronic cigarette companies in the world as a result of dedication to providing the best products possible.

With all of this success, we’d expect to see a little more with NJOY’s website. While it is clean and easy to navigate, it is very boring. Other companies, such as Blu and Green Smoke, have fun and exciting websites that add to the user experience. NJOY’s website is not nearly as memorable. Most frustrating is that the images of the starter kits are not current as the packaging has changed.

NJOY’s product line is limited to two models – the NPRO 2N1 and the NCIG. The NCIG is a classic pen-style electronic cigarette. It’s battery is wider and longer than the cartridge and holds a charge for a long time. However, NJOY will discontinue the NCIG on December 31st 2010. Both NJOY and their customers have realized that the NPRO 2N1 is far superior and is one of the best two-piece electronic cigarettes available. The NPRO cartridges can last for three days of moderate use before needing to be replaced and vapor production is great.

While the NPRO cartridges are excellent, they are limited to Menthol and Tobacco flavors. While electronic cigarettes should only be used by people who already smoke, many of us like the flavor options that come with these great products. I prefer to use tobacco-flavored cartridges most of the time, but other flavors are enjoyable at times. For this reason I would like to see more flavors offered by NJOY.

NJOY also has few accessories. Extras for their eCigs are limited to a car charger, a wall charger and a couple carrying cases. While this is all you really need, it’s hard not to desire more options and fun things.

Quality is one of the highest priorities of NJOY. This is the reason for the upgrade from the NPRO to the NPRO 2N1 and discontinuing the NCIG. While the two older models were great, the NPRO 2N1 is an extreme evolution in technology and quality.

It’s rare to find such high quality at such low prices. The NPRO 2N1 starter kit has two batteries, 10 cartridges and a charger for only $79.95. At first glance, the cartridges seem expensive at $19.95 per 5-pack, but when you see how long the cartridges last, you realize that this is actually a great deal. We are very pleased by NJOY’s prices.

We appreciate Eluma’s website. It’s easy to get lost with many electronic cigarette brands’ websites. Eluma lays everything out very cleanly and well. The checkout process is contained to a single page which is very rare with most companies. We’ve also kept an eye on their Twitter and Facebook accounts which are updated regularly. This shows commitment while other vendors set up their website and social media accounts and seem to never return.

Another sign of commitment is good customer service. Eluma responds very promptly to any questions and even follow-up if there is ever an issue to make sure that everything has been resolved. Eluma’s “customer service” area thoroughly answers many questions including shipping and returns policies.

Electronic Cigarettes Inc is one of the longest standing e cigarette brands and they are doing it from New York.  They are in the heart of the electronic cigarette battle and they continue to bring quality products assembled in the United States.

The biggest area they are lacking in is Customer Service.  So if you want some of their quality products, you may have to give up a little customer service satisfaction.  They still ship the products fast and have a range of kits available to please most smokers.  Their electronic cigarette starter kits that fall under the Electronic Cigarettes Inc Brand are:

The pricing is just right for what you are looking for due to the multiple options being available.  The vapor on all the units is great and the batteries last all day.  The SmokePass is perhaps one of the best disposables on the market as well.  The look and feel of the packaging on the e cigs inc starter kits is impressive.  They are all professionally packed and the branding on the box looks great.

While Electronic Cigarettes Inc. needs to improve their customer service, we understand it is part of pushing the envelope in offering new products, therefore we can still recommend them as a quality company.  Once they address the other issues, we will re-review their brand and hopefully raise the scores!

 

Fifty-One (also known as Smoke 51) burst onto the scene out of nowhere. They seemed to take place of another electronic cigarette giant after they were damaged by legal and financial trouble. When Smoke 51 stepped in there was one big difference – people actually liked their eCigs.

Smoke 51 sells two very popular electronic cigarette starter kits – the Duo and the Trio. The Smoke 51 Trio is very well suited for light smokers. It is smaller and the batteries don’t last as long as the Smoke 51 Duo, however its smaller size makes it more stylish and easier to carry around. Also, the Smoke 51 Trio has the option of using separate atomizers and cartridges. While this hurts vapor production, the refill cartridges cost less than the alternative cartomizers.

The Duo is an excellent option for regular or heavy smokers. It uses cartomizers that are very efficient and create a lot of vapor. Each cartomizer should last about as long as a traditional pack of cigarettes before needing to be replaced. We are very impressed with the Smoke 51 Duo and have recommended it to many fellow smokers.

Additionally, you can find the Green Puffer on Smoke 51′s website. This other brand of electronic cigarettes is owned by Fifty-One’s parent company, Vapor Corp. The Green Puffer is a very stylish model and has a unique tobacco flavor. We found it more difficult to take a draw from the Green Puffer than other models but it does create a lot of vapor and throat-hit.

Finally, Smoke 51 offers disposable cigars and cigarettes (branded as Krave). The Krave disposable electronic cigarettes are meant for people who would like to try out electronic cigarettes before they purchase a starter kit. The Smoke 51 e-Cigar is a great option for current cigar smokers who are looking to get rid of the smell and costs of traditional cigars.
