When the FDA began denouncing and attempting to regulate electronic cigarettes, NJOY was one of the first eCig suppliers to join the fight for our freedom of choice. NJOY has been one of the most successful electronic cigarette companies in the world as a result of dedication to providing the best products possible.
With all of this success, we’d expect to see a little more with NJOY’s website. While it is clean and easy to navigate, it is very boring. Other companies, such as Blu and Green Smoke, have fun and exciting websites that add to the user experience. NJOY’s website is not nearly as memorable. Most frustrating is that the images of the starter kits are not current as the packaging has changed.
NJOY’s product line is limited to two models – the NPRO 2N1 and the NCIG. The NCIG is a classic pen-style electronic cigarette. It’s battery is wider and longer than the cartridge and holds a charge for a long time. However, NJOY will discontinue the NCIG on December 31st 2010. Both NJOY and their customers have realized that the NPRO 2N1 is far superior and is one of the best two-piece electronic cigarettes available. The NPRO cartridges can last for three days of moderate use before needing to be replaced and vapor production is great.
While the NPRO cartridges are excellent, they are limited to Menthol and Tobacco flavors. While electronic cigarettes should only be used by people who already smoke, many of us like the flavor options that come with these great products. I prefer to use tobacco-flavored cartridges most of the time, but other flavors are enjoyable at times. For this reason I would like to see more flavors offered by NJOY.
NJOY also has few accessories. Extras for their eCigs are limited to a car charger, a wall charger and a couple carrying cases. While this is all you really need, it’s hard not to desire more options and fun things.
Quality is one of the highest priorities of NJOY. This is the reason for the upgrade from the NPRO to the NPRO 2N1 and discontinuing the NCIG. While the two older models were great, the NPRO 2N1 is an extreme evolution in technology and quality.
It’s rare to find such high quality at such low prices. The NPRO 2N1 starter kit has two batteries, 10 cartridges and a charger for only $79.95. At first glance, the cartridges seem expensive at $19.95 per 5-pack, but when you see how long the cartridges last, you realize that this is actually a great deal. We are very pleased by NJOY’s prices.
