Smoke 51 electronic cigarettes are popping up in malls and gas stations all over. Unfortunately, they promote the Trio more than the Duo. While the Trio isn’t a bad eCig, the Duo blows it away. The Smoke 51 Duo is very easy to use, makes a ton of vapor and tastes great. On top of that, it is very consistent and each draw delivers the same smoothness, flavor and sensation. This makes the Smoke 51 Duo one of the most solid performing electronic cigarettes that we have reviewed. It is very similar to smoking a real cigarette and is an excellent alternative.
The standard Smoke51 Duo Starter Kit comes with either one or two automatic batteries, two cartomizers and a wall charger. We always recommend getting at least two batteries so you can charge one while using the other. You can also take a look at the Blue Label Kit which has a very classy presentation and includes a USB charger.
Fifty-One’s cartomizers come in either Tobacco or Menthol flavor and six nicotine strengths. We enjoy the flavor that these cartomizers produce to an extent but prefer other eLiquids much more. They are constructed very well and will last the equivalent of almost two packs of traditional cigarettes.
We don’t have many complaints about the Smoke 51 Duo electronic cigarette other than the flavors at times. We’ve also heard some reports of poor customer service when an issue arises but we have yet to experience this.
Overall, the Smoke 51 Duo is a very solid eCig.

The Fifty-One Trio is the brand’s flagship electronic cigarette. The standard Trio starter kit comes with one or two automatic batteries, an atomizer and five cartridges. This starter kit is their most popular seller because it is priced very affordably and comes with everything you really need. Also available are seven other Fifty-One Trio starter kits including the Luxe Classic, Luxe Sport, Deluxe Kit, Gold Kit, Basic Kit + and Basic Kit Mini. Each of these kits comes with different quantities of batteries, atomizers, cartridges and accessories.
You have the option of either using cartomizers which keep the cartridge and atomizer in one piece, or the refill cartridges which are separate from the atomizer. The refill cartridges will save you more money, but require much more maintenance and can get messy. Another problem with using the refill cartridges is that your atomizers will eventually get dirty or die. The battery and cartridges both last about as long as a pack of cigarettes. Fifty-One’s cartridges come in Tobacco or Menthol flavors and you can choose from five nicotine levels. The Trio creates decent vapor and good flavor. However, we prefer the Duo as it creates more vapor and lasts longer.
The Fifty-One Trio is an acceptable alternative for light or social smokers. It works well and is enjoyable to use. But if you smoke regularly take a look at the Fifty-One Duo.

Just got the smoke 51 Duo….so far I love it. I’ve actually quit smoking analog ciggs after 20yrs of smoking. The throat hit and vapor are even better than I had hoped for, and the companies customer service has been superb as well. Delivery time was even quicker than promised. I would definitely recommend.
