SmokeStik has experienced overnight stardom as celebrities continue to come public with their SmokeStik electronic cigarettes. SmokeStik’s products are simple, easy-to-use and high-quality so this isn’t surprising. However, all of this fame may be going to SmokeStik’s head.
When you visit SmokeStik’s site, the first thing you notice are several slides leading to stories and photos of celebrities using SmokeStik eCigs, and news, radio and TV spots about the company. While the website is great, we fear that SmokeStik is taking the focus off of the most important part of their company – the products. When you get to the products page, information on each product is limited.
Fortunately, SmokeStik’s products are great. They offer four strong models – the beautiful Hendu Elite, Royale, the classy Royale, and the simple but strong JET and Premium. The Hendu Elite and Royale models have a new and unique crystal LED tip. In general, SmokeStik is very stylish, but we feel that their logo is too prominent on each battery. Most eCig companies place small, subtle logos on their batteries. SmokeStik takes up almost half of the battery with their logo. Each model is made up of two pieces, the battery and the cartomizer (cartridge and atomizer in one piece). Due to pressure from the FDA and to combat interest from children, SmokeStik only offers Tobacco and Menthol flavors. Both flavors are excellent and are great alternatives to traditional cigarettes.
SmokeStik offers some fun accessories, the most fun being their battery skins. Represent your country with your flag on your battery, or wrap your battery with heart or snake skin patterns. Also available are some nice carrying cases.
The quality of each product is very high. The cartomizers are very consistent. The Hendu Elite and the Royale models seem to be manufactured slightly better than the JET and Premium models but each eCig is sturdy and performs very well.
Also impressive are SmokeStik’s prices. None of their starter kits exceed $100. Cartridge prices are about average at $19.95 per 5-pack. Each cartridge should last for an equivalent of about a pack and a half of traditional cigarettes.
SmokeStik’s customer service is above average. They seem to instantly ship your product when you order it. We also ordered a Hendu Elite kit the same night as the Katherine Heigl interview with David Letterman when they discussed the SmokeStik. They were extremely busy with orders but our shipment came within about a week anyway. Regardless, SmokeStik also included extra cartomizers and a car charger to make up for any inconvenience. This shows extreme dedication to putting the customer first.
While SmokeStik may have an inflated ego, they still offer excellent products at great prices.
